Like churches statues  are a common sight in Tbilisi.There are statues  honouring  saints, kings,poets,philosophers, artists ,statesmen and traditional art forms.Street art/graffiti  also seem very popular.

  1. Nice to see art in Tbilisi! I missed out on going there while living nearby. Is that the author’s name under the “I like my wine like my women…” quote?! I can’t imagine what a troglodyte such a person must be to actually take credit for such an offensive statement!

  2. I always enjoy looking at statues and street art. Your photos are beautiful and interesting, they are each a special eye-catcher. I especially like the man on the ladder lighting the lantern. It is nice that the glass panel is well preserved and not broken. Is the sculpture made of bronze?
