Like churches statues are a common sight in Tbilisi.There are statues honouring saints, kings,poets,philosophers, artists ,statesmen and traditional art forms.Street art/graffiti also seem very popular.

Graffiti to me becuase, im from california, is gang related. Street art anything else. It takes an artist to creat beauty

Nice to see art in Tbilisi! I missed out on going there while living nearby. Is that the author’s name under the “I like my wine like my women…” quote?! I can’t imagine what a troglodyte such a person must be to actually take credit for such an offensive statement!

I always enjoy looking at statues and street art. Your photos are beautiful and interesting, they are each a special eye-catcher. I especially like the man on the ladder lighting the lantern. It is nice that the glass panel is well preserved and not broken. Is the sculpture made of bronze?
